The Name of YHWH is YHWH.

That’s it, plain and simple. There is really no need for further argument about what his name is. I have written various articles about the name of YHWH as part of my arguments against the widespread use of fake-names such as HEERE and LORD and God instead of that name. But as far as a defence for why YHWH’s name is YHWH, well, all we need to know is that YHWH himself has declared that such is his name and that we should, from generation to generation refer to him by that name.

As for vocalizing this Hebrew name, no-one seems to be entirely certain (and a great many bible translators use this uncertainty as their lame excuse for deleting the name altogether) but Yahweh and Yahu’ah are the most likely pronunciations. I am convinced in my hearth, that YHWH will listen to me when I call him Yahweh, even if the true pronunciation would be Yahu’ah. And vice versa.

I am equally convinced that, would I continue to call him by those fake-names such as LORD or HEERE or God, knowing as I do now that his true name is YHWH, he most likely will not listen to me.

Whether you, who read this, feel the same way, is solely up to you.
